• Urban, strategic and spatial planning
• Policy development and analysis
• District and regional planning
• Resource consent preparation and processing
• Development and infrastructure planning
• Plan changes and planning assessments
• Stakeholder, community and iwi engagement
• Expert witness evidence and hearings
• Project management
• Team leadership and management
• Stakeholder and client relationship management

Ideally, you will have:

• A relevant planning, resource management, geography or related qualification and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience
• Experience within a council, consultancy, government organisation or similar environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• New Zealand experience will be highly regarded
• New Zealand work rights, or the ability to meet the eligibility requirements for a New Zealand work or residence visa
